How Voice Search Will Change The Future Of SEO
Nowadays Voice search is merging and becoming a great competitive feature. But what about voice search SEO? Google’s recent studies says that more than 20 percent of mobile queries are voice searches, and also voice search is growing faster than type search. Most of the voice search comes from smart-phones and we know that around half of the global search is through mobile search.
Effects on SEO Potential
Death of keywords: By the introduction of Panda updates in 2011 the use of keyword research and optimisation becoming less important as it introduces a new mechanism for quality content. Google does not provide direct keyword ranking as the queries are handled based on the context and wordings.
Voice search focuses on context-based searches, hence the keyword inclusion is not relevant for top ranking.
Less predictable search behaviours: For type search it will be easy to predict the keywords the users opt for searching. For voice search, the searches will be frequent and we can’t predict the words they ask verbally to search.
Fewer screen interactions: In normal search the screen interactions are more so getting top in SERPs are important hence the chance of success will be high. But, for voice search the screen interactions are less because they get answers for their questions easily without even looking at the screen.
Voice responses and rich answers: Generate rich answers with voice response, which may even give concise information to user queries directly, rather than listing a huge results and forwarding to number of links.
Voice search not only give a kick-up to the search engine optimization , but it also helps to save time and provide accurate results to the users.
